"SINGLE YET MARRIED; MARRIED YET SINGLE"

Worshippers Arise!!! Worshippers Arise!!!

For the time is ripe for the True to understand that worship is a life to be lived, and not an art to be acted. Worship is not for a time or period....in fact, I believe that every gesture of a man should be towards the mindset of Worship.

We sometimes lose the revelation of worship to skills, talent and perfect instrumentation. But believe you me, GOD is sometimes in the atmosphere of the heart of true worship without great sounds or perfect voice.

With the Grace on her life, Ps. Helen Yawson would be throwing more insightful lights on the Topic "My Worship ID". And something tells me God will visit us on the 26th Sept, 2015 at the ICGC - Jesus Temple (Koforidua). You can't miss this encounter.

Grab your TICKET, save the CODE behind on your phone, in the case you lose it and reserve seats for you and your partner. You will have a touch with insight and inspiration.

God Bless you.

THE God who PERFORMS Miracles..

Ref Scripture: Psalm 77:14

“You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples...”.

Today somehow, I just got a bigger picture of the type of God am serving.

In this verse, God is described as “THE” God, mind you not “A” God. Let us do a little English here, Bible didn't say “A” God, that would have made it indefinite, which would have meant that there are other gods and God happens to be one of them. But it uses “THE” meaning - He is that one and only God who can perform genuine miracles.

You might say that …yeah, other Gods also perform miracles but trust me THIS God’s miracles are permanent and true.

“THE” here also makes me understand that it is in His nature to perform miracles. Assuming I say, “You are the girl/boy who sells fish”, that is to say that is what you do that on a daily basis and so this verse is just reminding us that performing miracles is in the nature of God.

It is a habit he can’t stop, every second, minute, hour; it’s His job and he can’t help but be who He is.

So dear friends, if you are looking for a miracle, go to “THE” God who performs miracles and not “A” God who performs miracle. Go to the source, for He is always available for you.

Death In The POT!

Ref Scripture: II Kings 4:38-41 (NIV)

38 Elisha returned to Gilgal and there was a famine in that region. While the company of the prophets was meeting with him, he said to his servant, “Put on the large pot and cook some stew for these prophets.”39 One of them went out into the fields to gather herbs and found a wild vine and picked as many of its gourds as his garment could hold. When he returned, he cut them up into the pot of stew, though no one knew what they were. 40 The stew was poured out for the men, but as they began to eat it, they cried out, “Man of God, there is death in the pot!” And they could not eat it.
41 Elisha said, “Get some flour.” He put it into the pot and said, “Serve it to the people to eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.

God has given each and every one an assignment on earth. Some glorious, beautiful and challenging; others not so.. They come to us as dreams, visions and purposes in life. But they are all good since they are from God.

However, along the line of fulfilling these call of God, we pick up some information, knowledge, experiences, values, attitudes and characters that are negative and opposing to the values and nature of this same God.

Some are consciously picked whiles others are not; some are bought and paid for and likewise, others are not. Some come in uninvited because of our various pathways. They come to affect parts of our family, business, educational, health, social and even spiritual lives. E.g. We have seen a good number of Men of God (MoG) with very troublesome children. We most often blame it on the devil but sometimes due to the nature of work, MoG loose sight of the value of the fathers presence in nurturing the children. Some have become armed robbers, others smoke, and do all kinds of unworthy things. We are asked to prepare stew to preserve, give taste and satisfaction to lives but we end up causing pain to others who are 'not' our mainstream targets or focus group. Some part of you dies, no matter how well you try to play it or work.

Everybody falls victim to this phenomenon, one way or the other; male, female, young, old, rich, poor...everybody. So that by the time we ready to present our substance (the Stew- our works), there is Death in the Pot

But as Elisha is the one who ordered the making of the stew and solely responsible for what ever happens thereof, so is Jesus, the high commissioner of our lives and responsible for what ever comes out of us. If Elisha uses flour to heal the stew, Jesus uses the Holy Spirit to smoothen the rough surfaces and repair all damages caused by the minuses picked up.

God will restore the years that the palmer and canker worms have eaten and make your sacrifice of service acceptable before the throne of Grace.

Just Trust Him, Obey Him, and Deliver your Bests...

Solomon's Wisdom; The Master's House.

1Kings 6, 7:13-51
Highlights: 1 Kings 6:7,11-13,18,20-25,29-30,38,7:1

Solomon built the foretold Temple of GOD, Almighty and the following are notable activities for the fulfillment of this promise.

1.  He had not built his own palace but raised the temple first

Many of us today, want to have the good job, fat salary, great house, best spouse, most wonderful children, unfailing health, etc. before starting the service of the Lord. In as much as they are not bad things to get, Solomon's Wisdom teaches us quite the opposite. He builds his house only when he knew that the throne of GOD had a place.

2.  It would have taken a much longer time to successfully establish the description given of the temple

It took 7 years of head, heart, hand and hard work to build the magnificent temple for God which could have taken 20 years to complete on a normal day considering the resources available at the time. Whereas it took 13 years to complete Solomon's own palace. Wisdom shows that placing the service and things of God first would earn you more than the exact things you would have wanted before.

3.  He overlaid the temple with the best of everything thinkable.

It is believed that there has been no such magnificently adored temple in the history of the world than that of the temple of Solomon. This boils down to the
(a) the materials used;
there were imported materials and skilled men like timber, dressed blocks and carvings, cedar wood of best quality and many more
(b) the tools and equipment used;
there was no sound of hammer or chisel or any metal tool at the site of the temple. That meant the blocks were designed to be fixed in and it showed the reverence on site and
(c) the overlaying furnishing and ornaments
there were gigantic cherubim carvings, pure gold, bronze artifacts, fir and pomegranate decorations, etc.

Moral Lesson:
We should serve God with the best we have and can offer 'even' when we have 'nothing' . We should place Gods work, body and comfort over ours. For he who waters, is also watered.

Wisdom

Every problem is a WISDOM problem. What you need to make it in life, is not the fat salary, good savings, perfect eating habit, nor that perfect spouse....
What you really need is the WISDOM to handle the limited resources in your hand ( like the 5 loaves + 2 fishes, the shepherd's staff, and that small flour...), to receive the greatest testimonies in life...

I pray for Wisdom that comes with Understanding and Knowledge through the Holy Spirit on All...
